Hayes returns to work on the Severn Bridge

A new contract has been awarded to Hayes on the Second Severn Crossing which links South Wales and the South West of England. Having previously completed maintenance works on the first Severn bridge, Hayes has acquired a 15 month contract from Laing O' Rouke to complete maintenance works on the Second Severn Crossing after months of negotiation.

The contract involves replacement of brackets and cleats spanning the entire length of the bridge, refurbishment of the access train which is housed on the bridges' underbelly and repair to gantries on both sides of the bridge. ...
